Guest Post: Amazing Cosplay Photography Collection

Cosplay put simply is short for ‘costume play’ and stems form the Japanese love for Manga and Anime cartoons. Although I don’t confess to be a big love of this subculture I have often found myself admiring the quality of the work gone into these type of costumes and characters.

Eye See You: Eye Opening Photography #3

Photographs provide us with a snapshot of that moment in time, It can be something to remind us of times gone by and of activities and holidays we loved and had great times. Photography is also used an expression of feelings and concept photography can bring out great quality works on a wide range of topics.

These photographs are particular favorites of mine due to them showcasing macro and other forms of portrait photography from which the main subject is the human eye. Such a complex and intricate part of the human anatomy is something I love, the eye is often described as the opening to the soul.

Lip Sync: Great Photographed Lips

For me photography is a growing love, I am taking more time out to sample great photographers through sites such as Flickr and DeviantART. If you can recommend any other please pass them on.

I am finding new styles and categories of quality in photography each time I take a moment out to explore different photography collections. This collection of photographs is specifically of lips, I wanted to concentrate on another part of the human anatomy in much the same way that I had done previously with my post on Eye Opening Photography.

These photos show precise quality and give us a different perspective on what quality we can create with a photo when you take time to setup a shot and know what you are doing with some of the high specification digital cameras. Here in this showcase of photographs all the pictures are of lips and have been taken by many different photographers. (Each picture links to its original location found online.)

There is no limitation in what can inspire you. Photography is something which can offer great sources of inspiration on many different levels and in many ways and formats, here I am taking portrait and personal photography as my inspiration.

Photography can be approached in various ways and means and some can require expensive equipment, time to setup each shot and others are more low budget and can still offer up great results.
