Design Something.

Gundam is a meta-series of anime created by the Japanese studio Sunrise, that features giant robots called Gundam. The meta-series started way back in 1979 as Mobile suit Gundam, it has appeared in many forms since and is very popular in Japan and the United States. I have collated a number of great Gundam Robot illustrations from across the Web.

Daniel Wolstenholme: Design Student at the University of Central Lancashire, Daniel is a product designer and maintains his own website and blog.

Ian Austin: Chaos Gundam in collaboration with VR-Eli, done with the aid of a line drawing.

Ivan Sanchez: I found loads of great illustrations by Ivan Sanchez, these are just three of a large selection of Gundam images which he produces which is just amazing. Be sure to check out his Deviant Art work.

Lucky Medel: Graduate of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde who works in industrial design.

Carl McGreavy: Design student at UCLAN, Carl works hard in retail as well as putting time and effort in his product design degree.

Nick Bistervelds: Is a 21 year old vector artist from Spain.

Rey Amio: “A personal variant of the XXXG-01H Gundam Heavy Arms from the Gundam Wing series. Built using high-resolution subdivision surfaces and textured using composited procedurals and dirtmaps.”

Stuart Hunt: Design student at UCLAN, the Burton-on-trent native works hard on his photoshop work and his product design degree.

Ryan: Is an anime artist from the United states, and displays great works on his Deviant Art profile.

Philip Hughes: Made using markers on rag paper, quite impressive i think you will agree.

Matt Richardson: Working under the banner of Eminar Design, Matthew is a Liverpool native and loves to work with 3D CAD software and is also working to a Product Design Degree.

Jimmy Chew: Working in art direction, print and illustration, Jimmy is from central Singapore and has four years experience.

Joy Lee: Has nine years of design industry experience, and works within the games design industry and has skills in illustration and art direction. Describing this piece Joy says: “I tried to depict scenes that would come up in animations.”

Ashley Craven: Everything this man touches is gold, his digital presentation work is often faultless keep your eye out for this product design student in the future.

Muhammad Najdi Abdul Ranie: This was hand drawn and rendered using Copic markers, pastels and colour pencils. Muhammad works in industrial design and is from Singapore.

Chad Baptiste: “This was the first mass produced Gundam, the Federation Mobile Suit RX-79 Ground Type Mobile Suit. Very armored and well adapted for earth terrain combat, the RX-79 features the same functional ability as the RX-78 Gundam but equipped with tech suitable for Earth Combat.”

Patrick Locke: Self-proclaimed genius from Canada.

Kseronarogu: Is Aconcept artist from poland.

Gemma Riley: Just launched her personal site, Gemma is a UCLAN design student working towards her Product Design degree.
